2016 at OEE Consulting.

2016 has been a particularly busy year for OEE Consulting, and as the year draws to an end we felt it was time to reflect on some of our highlights.

mca-accredited-firm-oee-consultingWe’ve continued to grow, with 49 people – 13 permanent and 36 associates – joining the team throughout the year. Some of the exciting projects they’ve supported include new clients such as Clydesdale Bank, Travelodge and Vodafone, among many others.

Our new premises at the Oxford Business Park have provided a more flexible meeting and training space; we have hosted a number of client training days and workshops since our move in April.

In October we were unanimously approved to join the Management Consultancies Association, the representative body for management consultancy firms which acts as a hallmark of quality within the sector. Alan Leaman, Chief Executive of the MCA, noted that our “rigorous approach to delivering client service and value shone through” our application.

Our annual conference on the future of service grew to include 206 delegates this year, as we discussed the role of people in a world of technology. Feedback was particularly positive covering the “extremely thought provoking” content and “charismatic and interesting speakers”. Watch the video highlights here.

Meanwhile, members of the Service Excellence Network have been in the RAF’s Chinook helicopters, explored mass customisation at the world-famous BMW MINI plant, and enjoyed a live demonstration of eye-tracking software in the Atos CX lab during their quarterly events.

In 2016 we trained 2,609 people in 15 countries and 3 languages.

We launched the first academically audited training course on designing service businesses. ‘Design of Service Operations‘ was developed in conjunction with Loughborough University, and has already been delivered with clients including RBS who have been trained in how to redesign and implement an effective operating model using our proprietary methodology.

We became the 100th signatory of the Good Employment Charter, showing our commitment to recruiting candidates with the right capabilities, future aspirations and cultural fit, as well as receiving accreditation as a Living Wage employer.

Our first completion of the Best Companies workplace engagement survey resulted in a three star accreditation reflecting our extraordinary level of employee engagement.

Mencap was our chosen charity this year, with a charity golf day, a donation of our Christmas card fund and reduced rate consulting and training services, to support their work providing personalised care for people with learning disabilities and their families. We also supported the Post Office Charity Ball in aid of BBC Children in Need, which raised £140,000.

Thank you to everyone who has worked with us in 2016 – we look forward to more successes in 2017.
