Organisations Fail to Embed Continuous Improvement (CI) in their Culture
Why is it so many organisations fail to embed Continuous Improvement (CI) successfully in their culture? And what is the long-term impact this failure has on their improvement strategy? The Institute for Continuous Improvement in Public Services (ICiPs) is holding its 3rd annual conference Thursday 25th February, Malmaison, Birmingham and OEE Consulting as silver sponsors of the event will be hosting a workshop to tackle this thorny issue.

Mark Bilney, Associate Partner: Learning & Development will be presenting alongside Stef Atkins CI Practitioner from the Home Office. “Our interactive workshop will cover both theory and practice,” said Mark “Developed from the wealth of experience from our training and coaching programmes attendees will hear about our five-point approach to start to tackle the problem of embedding CI effectively. And I am delighted that Stef Atkins can join me to add his personal insight gained during his Public-Sector career. The session promises to be challenging to anyone who attends.”
The workshop will address several key problem areas including:
• Risk Management – why does the risk of failure sit with the wrong people?
• Leadership – often talked about as a key factor but is it present where it’s needed?
• Good design – are you experimenting and learning to avoid going down the wrong path?
